FICTITIOUS BUSINESS NAMES (FBN)
A business name that does not include the surname of the individual owner and each of the partners, or does not make the nature of the business clearly evident is a Fictitious Business Name. A Fictitious Business Name statement must be filed in the county where your principal place of business is located, usually with the County Recorder.
